Information we process

• Account information: sign-in provider identifiers, email, display name and session information used to authenticate you and keep your workspace separate.
• Creative content: your prompts, conversation history, scripts, uploaded images, video and audio, selected voice references, and generated files. Your chosen content is processed to carry out creation and editing requests.
• Transactions and usage: purchase identifiers, subscription status, credits, metered creation usage, refunds and reward records. Payment details are handled by the app store; we do not receive your full payment-card number.
• Technical and support information: IP address, device and app information, crash diagnostics, service logs and the details you send in support or content reports.

Why and with whom

We use this information to provide authentication, AI creation, media storage, payment verification, support, abuse prevention and service reliability. We share the information needed for these functions with service providers:

• Google / Firebase: authentication, hosting, crash diagnostics and optional usage analytics.
• BytePlus and Volcengine / ByteDance services: AI instructions, image and video generation, speech processing, cloud workspaces and media storage. Prompts and relevant media are sent to the provider needed for your request.
• Infrastructure providers, including Contabo: application hosting and service operations.
• App stores and RevenueCat: when purchases are available, purchase validation, subscriptions, restoration and refunds.
• SolarEngine and Firebase Analytics: usage and attribution only after you enable usage analytics. Prompts, recordings, email addresses and purchase receipts are excluded from our usage-analytics events.

We do not sell your personal information or make your private workspace public. Information may also be disclosed where required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a business transfer with appropriate protections. We do not use your private creative content to train our own AI models; third-party processing is subject to the applicable provider arrangements.

Your choices

You choose what to upload and can decline device permissions. Features requiring that content or permission may then be unavailable. Optional usage analytics can be disabled in Account. Essential authentication, accounting and crash diagnostics are separate from optional analytics. You can remove media, report content and request account deletion. This support website does not embed analytics or advertising scripts.

Storage, security and deletion

We use HTTPS, account-based access controls and private workspace storage. No system can guarantee absolute security. Service providers may process data outside your country, including in Southeast Asia, mainland China and locations used by Google and other providers. Applicable safeguards are used where required.

Account information and creative content are retained while needed to provide your account and until you delete them or request deletion. A verified deletion request removes account profile information, conversations, uploaded and generated media, saved voices and attribution data. Access is revoked when deletion begins; unavailable external cleanup is retried. We aim to complete verified requests within 30 days and will explain any permitted delay.

We retain only necessary transaction, credit and refund records and irreversible identity digests for reconciliation, fraud prevention and applicable recordkeeping obligations, for as long as those purposes require. These retained records do not preserve your creative media. Limited copies may remain in restricted backups pending deletion or replacement and are not used to reactivate a deleted account. Your Google or Apple account is separate from IdeaMovie.

Rights, age and updates

Depending on your location, you may request access, correction, a copy, deletion or restriction of your information, object to processing, withdraw optional consent, or complain to your privacy regulator. Email us to exercise these rights; we may verify account ownership. IdeaMovie is intended for adults aged 18 and over. Contact us if a child has provided personal information. We update this page when our practices change and provide additional notice where required.
